Roberto Prestigiacomo Discusses International Economics with Radiotelevisione Italiana
Trinity faculty and students participate in international study on global migration at the University of Palermo
Roberto Prestigiacomo, MFA, Human Communication and Theatre professor, spoke with Radiotelevisione Italiana while he and Trinity undergraduates participated in a human rights project at the University of Palermo this spring. Working with students from Finland, Bangladesh, Mexico, Ecuador, and Italy, they studied the issue of human rights as it applies to migrants and about working in communities like San Antonio that are in the path of global migration. The "theater for social change" approach looks to work with communities to help them reimagine the issue and help develop a sense of empowerment and empathy.
