Trinity Senior Week events at Twilight at the Tower, Casino Night, and the Last Great Reception
Senior Week
Annual send-off a fun, unique bookend for senior Tigers

Senior week gives Trinity seniors a unique series of events for their college finale and provides them with valuable post-graduation information.

The event started as “Senior Disorientation,” a wacky but popular creation of the Ron Calgaard years. The event was funded by Calgaard’s SuperFund, an annual grant of $25,000 to be used at the discretion of Vice President Coleen Grissom to encourage a sense of community and to celebrate multiculturalism.

Activities varied from year to year but usually featured educational seminars, a talent show, and a "Last Great Reception" in the Great Hall, at which faculty honored upcoming graduates. A number of seniors signed up for the Wine, Dine, and Act Fine dinners, hosted by Genie Calgaard, where they acquired tips about social etiquette during a seven-course meal.

A bar crawl, winding through notable off-campus hangouts at Bombay Bicycle Club, Tycoon Flats, and the 50/50 club, was also a popular feature of the event.

Rebranded as “Senior Week” in the mid 2000s, the event began including networking events, career prep meetings through CELCS, and graduate school application workshops, along with more social events such as the Casino Tower Party, the Last Great Reception, and Twilight at the Tower.

LeeRoy Tiger is Trinity's lovable mascot, spreading #TigerPride wherever he goes.
