Trinity Alumnus Bobby Magee ’21 Named to Forbes 30 Under 30 Class of 2026
The company Magee co-founded while in college now has $500 million in assets

Trinity University alumnus Bobby Magee ’21 has been named to Forbes’ 15th annual 30 Under 30 Class of 2026, a list recognizing 600 young leaders across 20 industries who are driving transformative change in business, culture, and entrepreneurship.

Magee, an avid motorcyclist, sought to make riding safer. While at Trinity, he teamed up with Chris Stewart ’21, and they launched LuxTurn, a device that projects turn signals into adjacent lanes, earning them the 2018 Stumberg Venture Competition Prize. In 2020, Magee co-founded Escalera Capital while still completing his degree, partnering with veteran hotel developer Charles Leddy, whom he met during the venture competition. The real estate private equity firm has since grown to manage $500 million in assets across hospitality, commercial, and mixed-use properties.

Carla Sierra is the public relations manager for Trinity University Strategic Communications and Marketing.
