Trinity University is excited to commemorate the achievements, growth, and discoveries of the Class of 2023 through its Spring Commencement. All commencement ceremonies will take place on Saturday, May 13.
"I am thrilled to celebrate the Class of 2023 at this year's Spring Commencement," says Vanessa Beasley, Ph.D., Trinity President. "This cohort of students endured the earliest and most uncertain days of the global pandemic as part of their university experience. Now they have emerged more resilient and ready to take on their next challenges. A Trinity degree will serve them well in a world that needs strong yet compassionate leaders."
The ceremony for Bachelor of Science candidates will take place at 9 a.m. in Laurie Auditorium. The Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Music candidates’ ceremony will take place at 1 p.m., also in Laurie Auditorium. Commencement for graduate students will occur at 3 p.m. in the Margarite B. Parker Chapel. All ceremonies will also be livestreamed on Tiger Network. Melody Meyer ’79, chair of Trinity’s Board of Trustees, will give the commencement address for all three ceremonies.
Trinity has a total of 557 students graduating in Spring 2023. This includes:
Bachelor of Arts - 215
Bachelor of Music - 5
Bachelor of Science - 286
Master of Arts in School Psychology - 10
Master of Arts in Teaching - 14
Master of Science in Accounting - 27
The undergraduate commencement is a ticketed event. Degree candidates can begin picking up their tickets starting Monday, May 1, at the Laurie Auditorium Box Office, open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Each graduating senior may request up to seven tickets. The graduate commencement will not be ticketed.
