Trinity University has been named one of the nation’s best colleges in The Princeton Review’s 2026 guide, The Best 391 Colleges. The listing, based on student surveys, highlights Trinity’s strong academics, engaged community, and distinctive student experience.

Trinity also ranked in the following lists in the guide: No. 10 on Best Science Lab Facilities, No. 25 on Best College Dorms, No. 24 on Best Health Services, and No. 46 on Top 50 Best Value Colleges (Private Schools). The University was also listed on The Princeton Review’s  Best Value Colleges, Best Southwest, and Colleges That Create Futures lists.

“This recognition reaffirms what the Trinity community already knows: a Trinity education is transformational,” said Trinity President Vanessa B. Beasley, Ph.D. “Rooted in the liberal arts and sciences and then grounded in hands-on learning and discovery, our approach cultivates the critical thinking, creativity, and adaptability students need to thrive in an ever-changing world. It’s a model that prepares students for a lifetime of purpose—personally, professionally, and in their communities.”

This year’s incoming Class of 2029 is a powerful testament to that transformation in action. With 11,902 applications, Trinity’s acceptance rate hit an all-time low of 25%, underscoring its status as a top-choice destination for talented students worldwide. The 604 incoming Tigers bring outstanding academic credentials, alongside exceptional athletic, artistic, and leadership achievements. The incoming class represents 32 states and 20 countries, bringing a wide range of experiences and perspectives that enrich the Trinity community. More than a quarter are recruited athletes, and nearly a quarter will contribute to Trinity’s thriving fine arts scene.

The Princeton Review’s recognition adds to Trinity’s longstanding record of national honors. The University is known for its close-knit community, faculty mentorship, and campus culture that fosters curiosity, connection, and real-world impact.
