College Consensus has named Trinity University in its 2022 list of the top 100 colleges in the nation. Trinity placed No. 89 on the list and No. 4 in Texas. The University improved nine spots on the national list compared to 2021, when it took the No. 98 spot on the list.
College Consensus also named Trinity the No. 27 small college in the nation, a list that focuses on schools with 3,000 or fewer students. This ranking was also an improvement compared to the 2021 list, when Trinity was named No. 38.
College Consensus uses a Publisher Rating and a Student Review Rating to generate each school’s score. The Publisher Rating refers to a combination of scores made by U.S. News & World Report, Forbes, and other prominent college-ranking publications, while the Student Review Rating is created by gathering reports from respected student review sites such as Cappex, Niche, and Student Review. Both scores are then combined to create the College Consensus score, which does not consider the size, location, or classification of universities. Trinity received an overall College Consensus score of 76, with a Publisher Rating of 73.8 and a Student Consensus of 78.2.
