TSEC hosts events throughout the year to encourage employees to get to know each other.

Established in 2010, the Trinity University Staff Engagement Council (TSEC) positively and proactively advocates for the needs and interests of the staff regarding administrative policy, employment, professional development, campus-wide communication, and the social community, all while promoting the role of staff as part of the wider Trinity University community.
“When we have a thriving campus culture of engagement for faculty and staff, we are more likely to create the conditions that help students thrive, too.” - Trinity President Danny Anderson

Over the years, TSEC has worked with University administration to pass policies affecting Trinity’s staff, including:
- Paid parental leave
- Paid holiday for the day before Thanksgiving
- University committees’ staff nominations
- Administrative job search input and interviews
TSEC was also instrumental in recommending the recent Gallup employee engagement survey, which is part of an ongoing effort to solidify and strengthen Trinity’s workplace culture.
TSEC also hosts events throughout the year. Staff Town Halls give employees a place to voice their opinions, while Staff Development Days provide professional growth opportunities. Employees mingle at welcome-back events and holiday parties and give back to the community with donation drives throughout the year.
