Golf Tournament 2016

This year’s Trinity University All Alumni Golf Tournament was a major success.
On Friday, October 7, nearly 50 golfers consisting of students, alumni, and friends had the opportunity of playing at The Quarry Golf Club. Although it was overcast most of the day, with an occasional rain storm, the teams completed their rounds and had an excellent experience. Each of our participating golfers received a complimentary gift bag, refreshments, and a boxed lunch during the registration process, prior to a 12:30 shotgun start. At the completion of the tournament, the players were treated to an awards reception where a light meal was served. During the reception, various trophies were awarded including best team score, worst team score, longest drive and closest-to-pin.
This year’s tournament raised $2,800 with the proceeds going to help fund student attendance at the March 2017 Congress on Healthcare Leadership Conference in Chicago and the Paul Golliher Fellowship, which is awarded to one outstanding student each school year. The money raised provides excellent learning experiences for students as they attempt to navigate their way through the health care industry.
