DIVERSITY, EQUITY, INCLUSION, AND BELONGING
Diverse teams develop more informed, thoughtful, and innovative solutions.
Diverse teams generate more ideas than homogeneous ones, increasing their chance of a breakthrough. They use a broader lens when solving problems and do a better job considering multiple stakeholder perspectives. Inclusive diverse teams are more mindful of their own biases and more willing to consider multiple perspectives. They also bring a vast array of insight, experience, skills, and knowledge to tackle complex problems.
Our Center is committed to assisting students from diverse backgrounds and disciplines to seek innovative ways to solve real-world problems. We are here to support all changemakers, founders, and innovators.
We teach, inspire, empower, and enable historically underrepresented, underestimated, and underresourced students, faculty, and alumni in innovation and entrepreneurship—specifically those who identify as Black, Latinx, and Indigenous; women of all backgrounds; LGBTQ; first-generation; and individuals from low-income backgrounds.
In broadening the startup and innovation ecosystem by making it more authentically diverse, equitable and inclusive, Trinity is a leader in developing outstanding diverse entrepreneurial talent.
Our entrepreneurs tell our story.
