A Note from the President
Inclusive Excellence is a Trinity framework that we must continually practice. It calls for actions of radical empathy, by considering another person’s point of view in order to connect more deeply with them. It is a foundational part of our mission. It must be integrated into our institutional operations. And it recognizes group and individual differences among all students, faculty, and staff.

Inclusive Excellence and Leadership
Trinity will achieve inclusion through theory and practices rooted in Inclusive Excellence. The four main components of Inclusive Excellence and Leadership are:
Access and Equity
Ensuring the university welcomes historically underrepresented students, faculty, and staff and has the support systems in place to enhance their success.
Diversity in the Formal and Informal Curriculum
Supporting diversity of content across academic disciplines, as well as the social dimensions of the campus.
Campus Climate
Fostering a supportive environment that encourages all students to reach their full potential and strive for educational achievement.
Student Learning and Development
Acquiring knowledge about diverse groups and developing cognitive complexity.
Get Involved
Find community, discover new perspectives, and celebrate diversity.
There are numerous cultural and diversity organizations at Trinity that support students and educate the Trinity community about diverse cultures and groups.
