Determine your Eligibility

  1. Complete the Eligibility Assessment
  2. Provide a copy of your Student Aid Report (SAR), which can be obtained from Student Financial Services, OR an Income Tax Return (from your parent(s)/guardian(s) if you are dependent; your own if you are independent)..

Criteria

Eligible students must meet the following requirements:

  • Full-time Trinity University student (all undergraduate majors are eligible)
  • U.S. citizen or permanent resident
  • Interest in attending graduate school

Students must also belong to at least one of the following groups. 

  • First-generation low-income college student
    A student meets this requirement if (1) their parent(s) or guardian(s) did not receive a 4-year bachelor's degree before the applicant turned 18 years of age, and (2) they meet specific family income requirements. 
  • Member of a group underrepresented in graduate education
    This includes African Americans, Hispanics/Latinos, Native Americans/Alaskan Natives, and Pacific Islanders/Hawaiian Natives.

Upon approval of your eligibility assessment, you will be invited to complete the full application.
