• Jennifer Lilly Rames is the Assistant Director for Internships and Course Projects in the Center for Experiential Learning and Career Success. Jen holds a Master of Science in Educational Administration from Texas A&M University, and is a proud Trinity University alumna, with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology.

As a first-year undergraduate student at Trinity, Jen participated in a service-learning project for a women’s studies course at a battered women’s shelter. That experience led her to major in sociology, participate in and lead community service projects, work as a caseworker for child protective services, and set her on a path toward a graduate degree and professional positions focused on community-engaged learning.

Jen served in roles at UTSA and Texas A&M University centered on service-learning, community engagement, and student volunteerism, and spent several years as an independent consultant guiding students through the college search process. She also volunteered regularly at Trinity as an 1869 Scholars Program Mentor and student organization alumni adviser, as well as at Cafe College and with Diamond Dachshund Rescue.

Jen returned to Trinity in February 2022. In her current role, Jen strives to connect students with experiential learning opportunities that will enhance their undergraduate education, and lead them toward a future of joy in work and life.
