• Building Closed to Campus Visitors

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, Trinity University buildings and facilities are currently closed to the public. For the most up-to-date information about building hours, see the updated schedule (Trinity email required)

As part of the Ruth Taylor Fine Arts Center, The Jim and Janet Dicke Art Building ignites a sense of student community and comradery. Spaces are composed to serve purpose, yet they are flexible enough to encourage experimentation and diversity.

The building features spacious art studios flooded with natural light, digital photo labs, and an art gallery. Dicke Art is a major hub for Admissions tours and campus activities.

The facility offers a sense of place to the discipline in which I teach. It is both classroom and studio, a place for students to engage in both formal and independent work. Whether or not these benefits are unique, they are critical to building a sense of exchange and purpose that builds over time.
