Daniel Lubetzky ’90 Headlines San Antonio Startup Week
Trinity alumnus and KIND Snacks founder to inspire future entrepreneurs this October

Trinity University alumnus Daniel Lubetzky '90, best known as the founder of KIND Snacks and a star "Shark" from ABC's Shark Tank, was featured on Texas Public Radio (TPR - KSTX) for his upcoming keynote address at San Antonio Start Up Week (SASW) 2025. Lubetzky is scheduled to speak on Wednesday, October 15, at 11 a.m. Trinity President Vanessa B. Beasley, Ph.D. will introduce Lubetzky.

Charles Woodin, CEO of Geekdom and SASW sponsor, hopes Lubetzky's message inspires aspiring entrepreneurs to think bigger about the positive impact they can make.

Trinity's Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship's Louis H. Stumberg New Venture Competition is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. The Stumberg Competition annually supports compelling student start-ups. This year's competition takes place Tuesday, October 14, at 5 p.m., in Trinity's Ruth Taylor Recital Hall, where five Trinity University student teams will compete for the grand prize of $25,000.
