Trinity Students Spend Summer 2025 Making Meaningful Breakthroughs
A summer of discovery at Trinity means exploring big ideas and asking bold questions

The summer isn't just a break; it's a catalyst for our Tigers to shine through hands-on learning. Across campus and beyond, students are transforming their summers into seasons of growth, blazing trails, seizing opportunities, and transforming dreams into reality.

At the heart of this summer momentum is the Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) program, which serves as a launchpad for discovery. SURF offers Tigers the unique opportunity to spend their summers asking questions and questioning answers. Over the course of 10 weeks, students dive deep into hands-on research alongside faculty mentors, bringing bold ideas to life.

With a $5,000 stipend, free summer housing, funding for travel and supplies, and a one-credit course annotation on their transcript, SURF creates opportunities for students to fully immerse themselves in research throughout the summer. The journey culminates with the Trinity Summer Research Symposium, where Tigers showcase the breakthroughs they’ve made.

The story doesn’t stop here—let’s let the data do the talking.
