Trinity to Commemorate Class of 2025
Spring Commencement ceremonies to be held on May 17

Trinity University is excited to commemorate the achievements, growth, and discoveries of the Class of 2025 through its Spring Commencement. The undergraduate and graduate ceremonies will take place on Saturday, May 17.

The ceremony for Bachelor of Science and Master of Science candidates will take place at 9 a.m. in Laurie Auditorium. The Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Music, Master of Arts, Master of Arts in Teaching, and Master of Education candidates’ ceremony will follow at 3 p.m., also in Laurie Auditorium. All ceremonies will be livestreamed on Tiger Network.

L. Herbert Stumberg Jr. ’81, a member of Trinity’s Board of Trustees and the president of Air Measurement Technologies, will give the commencement address for both ceremonies. Stumberg and his brother, Eric, established the Louis H. Stumberg Venture Competition in memory of their late father, a former member of the Board of Trustees. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the competition, which supports student teams by helping them ideate, revise, and pitch their startups, and awards $25,000 to the winning team.

Joy Areola ’25, the 2024-25 Student Government Association (SGA) president, will also give an address on behalf of the graduating class. During her time at Trinity, Joy has left her mark on many areas of campus, from SGA and the Office of Admissions to Trinity’s track and field team and the African Student Association, to name just a few.

“I love how Trinity has allowed me to have such a dynamic nature during my four years here,” Joy says. “I've been able to balance many amazing friendships and broaden my experiences among my extracurriculars as well, and I'm not sure I would have been able to do the same at any other institution.”

Trinity has a total of 614 students graduating in Spring 2025.

This includes:
Bachelor of Arts - 208
Bachelor of Music - 3
Bachelor of Science - 331
Master of Arts - 12
Master of Education in School Leadership - 15
