Trinity Named No. 1 in Texas for Job Placement Rate
Zippia spotlights University for 94% job placement rate 10 years after graduation

For the second year in a row, Zippia has named Trinity University the best school in Texas for job placement, with a placement rate of 94% 10 years after graduation.

Using the Department of Education College Scorecard data, Zippia searches for the college in each state with the highest listed job placement numbers ten years after graduation. They then sort every college in the country from the highest employment levels to the lowest. Zippia opted to focus on the best colleges to graduate with a bachelor’s degree. To do this, the organization only looked at colleges that predominantly offer four-year degrees. They then selected the college with the highest rate of employment in each state, rounding to the second decimal point for readability.

Trinity resources that make these stats possible include Career Services, a comprehensive and centralized office that works with students from first-years to seniors and alumni. Career Services specializes in assisting students and alumni to evaluate their interests and skills, to set goals, and to research majors and occupations in light of interests, skills, and goals. The staff of Career Services also works closely with employers and recruiters to develop recruiting relationships and assist students in having access to jobs, internships, and employer information targeted specifically to Trinity students and graduates.

Zippia has been featured in publications including Forbes Magazine, The New York Times, MarketWatch, and Business Insider.
