Trinity President to Visit 11 More Alumni Chapters

Trinity University President Danny Anderson traveled to Oklahoma City on March 1 to visit with Trinity alumni in the region as he started the second leg of a 22-city "listening tour" across the country. Anderson visited 11 alumni chapter cities in fall of 2015 beginning in San Antonio.

"I am proud of the way that the Trinity experience has prepared generations of students to be at home in the world, to be pioneers who make a difference wherever they go. I am honored by the many conversations we have had so far and I hope to have many more as I continue to learn more about the impact that the Trinity experience has had on their lives," Anderson said.

"Dr. Anderson has dubbed this his 'listening tour' because he is genuinely interested in hearing what Trinity alumni have to say," said Mike Bacon, vice president for Alumni Relations and Development.

Each of the chapter programs will include brief remarks from the president with an extended opportunity for questions. Comment cards will be available at the receptions and online to give alumni multiple opportunities to offer feedback. "We plan to compile all the information so Dr. Anderson can report back to alumni on what he heard and any action he's taking," Bacon said.

President Anderson says he will also be seeking alumni insights about how the University can make the Trinity experience better for future generations of students. "I believe alumni can help us be our best and accomplish our goal of preparing our students for the 21st century," Anderson said.
