Trinity University To Host 29th Annual Model United Nations San Antonio
Over 1,000 high school students will be on campus in January 2025

In January 2025, Trinity University’s Department of Education and the Office of Conferences and Special Programs will host Model United Nations San Antonio (MUNSA) on Trinity’s campus. Set up begins on Wednesday, January 8, and the conference will take place on Thursday, January 9, and Friday, January 10. TUPD will close lot B on the evening of Wednesday, January 8, through Friday, January 10, to accommodate the bus logistics and staging for the event. Approximately 1,400 high school students from San Antonio, Texas, the United States, and Mexico will be on campus to debate and delegate global issues and to learn about Trinity University. 

This is the 29th year of MUNSA, the largest student-run Model UN conference in the United States for high school students. This year’s keynote speaker is Sussan Siavoshi, Ph.D., Una Chapman Cox Professor of International Affairs. The conference is organized by Trinity's professional development school partner, the International School of the Americas (ISA) High School, which Trinity helped found.
