Beneski Parkway will serve as a beacon to all campus visitors


The Hildebrand entrance is a key part of the University’s Campus Master Plan, developed in 2017 collaboration with Page, a Texas architecture firm with history and expertise in O’Neil Ford architecture.

Location

Community is a key factor in the design of the new entrance.

The new street and grand entrance is located on the far north side of campus off Hildebrand Avenue.

   New traffic signal with enhanced safety

  Acceleration and deceleration lanes for vehicular traffic

  Widened 10-foot sidewalks on both East and West Hildebrand

  Connects City Vista student living with the campus

From the North on Hwy 281 (airport):
  • Proceed to Interstate 281 South.
  • Travel south on Hwy 281 for approximately 4 miles.
  • Exit at Hildebrand Avenue and turn right at the light off the highway.
  • Turn left onto Beneski Parkway
From the South on Hwy 281 (downtown/Riverwalk and Corpus Christi):
  • Travel north on Interstate 281 North/37 North.
  • Exit at Hildebrand Avenue and turn left at the light off the highway.
  • Turn left onto Beneski Parkway
From the North on I-35 (Austin)
  • Travel south on Interstate 35 and exit Hwy 281 North.
  • On Hwy 281 North, exit at Hildebrand Avenue and turn left at the light off the highway.
  • Turn left onto Beneski Parkway
From the East on I-10 (Houston):
  • Travel west on Interstate 10 and exit Interstate 281 North/37 North.
  • Exit at Hildebrand Avenue and turn left at the light off the highway.
  • Turn left onto Beneski Parkway
From the West on I-10 (El Paso):
  • Travel east on Interstate 10 into San Antonio.
  • Exit at Hildebrand Avenue (Exit 566B). Turn left on Hildebrand and travel approximately two miles.
  • Turn left onto Beneski Parkway
