Students should possess basic knowledge, understanding, or skills that will help them to make good decisions relating to health throughout their lives.
Students will be more likely to engage in a healthy lifestyle of exercise and physical activity if they:
- possess the necessary skills to participate in a lifetime sport or activity;
- understand fitness, exercise, and physical activity and their importance.
Students must successfully complete one approved fitness education course.
