Today's healthcare problems require innovative solutions, demanding leaders who approach challenges with empathy and creative confidence.  Healthcare PRISm equips today's healthcare management students to develop as tomorrow's healthcare leaders, fueling transformation and creative problem solving to disrupt the status quo and direct healthcare's future.  As an innovation journey spanning multiple months and steps, the Healthcare PRISm Pitch Competition encourages students to grow as leaders who have the courage and passion to:

  • Experiment – generating confidence to iterate and discover valued solutions;
  • Ideate – collaborating with others to fuel creativity and exploration; and,
  • Understand – leveraging empathy to see the perspective and needs of others.

Healthcare PRISm utilizes an open-ended format that begins in the fall and culminates in a virtual pitch competition in February, but we see it as more than just an educational event.  We imagine Healthcare PRISm as the start – not the ending – to students’ creative solutions and innovation journeys.
