Arrival and Seating


Arrival

Families and guests should arrive at least 45 minutes before the ceremony starts to have adequate time to park and find their seats. Doors will open approximately 1 hour before the ceremony.

Seating

Guest seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.  Guests who have accessibility requirements should specify their needs in the designated section of the registration form.

Bags, Signs, and Banners


Bags

To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all attendees, we encourage you to plan ahead and travel light.

  • We kindly ask that guests only bring small bags such as purses, clutches, or small totes
  • Clear bags are highly encouraged
  • While not mandatory, bags that are not clear may be subject to search.

Signs and Banners

To not obstruct families from seeing their graduates cross the stage, no signs or banners will be permitted, affixed, or hung anywhere in the facility. Flowers, congratulatory cards, and small gifts are allowed and encouraged.


Noisemakers

Please note that noisemakers are not allowed at the ceremony. This includes airhorns, whistles, cowbells, confetti poppers, and/or musical instruments that are distracting to guests and graduates.

Accessible parking and assistance

  • Guests with accessible needs may park on any level of the Laurie Auditorium garage.
  • Golf cart shuttles will be provided for those who need assistance.
