The Writing Center’s team of trained peer tutors offers advice on all levels of composition including:

  • Brainstorming
  • Finding a thesis and developing structure
  • Revising and editing
  • Reviewing grammar, syntax, and punctuation

You are welcome to stop by for help with writing any type of assignment, from FYE assignments to senior theses. The Writing Center is located in the Tiger Learning Commons on the entrance level of the Coates Library and is available to all Trinity students seeking help with any part of the writing process.

Need quick advice? Hop into our drop-in room, open from 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Sunday through Thursday. A tutor will be on hand to chat, engage you in brainstorming strategies, or help you navigate any of our services.

Advice for Your Visit

For a more productive session, please bring all information (handouts, etc.) related to your assignment as well as any work you have done so far. For research assignments, consider scheduling a research appointment with one of Trinity’s liaison librarians.
