Located in the Tiger Learning Commons, the Trinity Writing Center is a free resource available to all students.

The Center’s team of trained writing tutors can help you create outlines from ideas, give you direction in drafting, and help you better understand the editing process. Writers at all skill levels benefit from this kind of editorial input.

We strive to empower Trinity students to become better, more self-sufficient writers by offering one-on-one tutoring for all stages of the writing process. Appointment Types and Hours


  1. Zoom Appointment

    Hours: Consult TutorTrac

    All students seeking help with a writing assignment for any class should schedule a Zoom appointment through TutorTrac to meet with one of our trained writing consultants.

    If you need help using TutorTrac, please read the detailed step-by-step instructions on how to use TutorTrac.

  2. Drop-In Hours

    Hours: Will be announced soon for Fall 2021.

    Don't have an appointment? Feel free to stop by during our drop-in hours!

  3. Zoom Alternative

    Hours: Sunday through Thursday

    Zoom fatigue? We get it. You can submit a paper for written feedback, delivered back to you within a 48-hour window.

Prepare for your Session

For a more productive session, please bring all information (handouts, etc.) related to your assignment as well as any work you have done so far. For research assignments, consider scheduling a research appointment with one of Trinity’s liaison librarians.
