Debra J. Ochoa specializes in contemporary Spanish cultural production. She coedited Gender in Spanish Urban Spaces: Literary and Visual Narratives of the New Millennium with Maria C. DiFrancesco (Ithaca College), and has published in several journals including Journal of Spanish Cultural Studies, Confluencia, Ámbitos feministas, Letras femininas, and Letras hispanas. She is currently working on a new book project “Transatlantic Perspectives: Spanish Cultural Production in New York,” which examines post 9/11 literary and visual narratives created by Spaniards that take place in Manhattan.
