Parent and Family Giving Programs

With Trinity’s mission and set of values that place the student experience at its core, Parent and Family Giving Programs provide a pathway to family involvement and philanthropic support.

Every gift, at every level, becomes part of the support system for Trinity scholars.

Every dollar raised is used to support Trinity's tradition of excellence through investment in our students and their unique Trinity experiences—from research with professors to conference travel to service learning projects to studying abroad and everything in between.

Parents Associates

Parent Associates are individuals or couples that make a leadership gift to the University. Associate gifts of $1,000 or more are made annually and enrich the student experience at Trinity through scholarship assistance and support of the Trinity Fund, Trinity Athletics, Academic Departments, or any other designated University Fund, while enhancing personal engagement with the University through special on-campus and regional events.

Class Partners

For a four-year commitment of $5,000 per year, you will make a Trinity education possible to our students with the greatest financial need. Donors receive impact updates and are included in the Silver Associates recognition level.

The Trinity Commitment

An investment today benefits generations to come: When you give or pledge a gift of $50,000 or more, or add to an existing endowed scholarship, Trinity will match it dollar-for-dollar to create one or more new, named endowed scholarships.

The Chapman Family Circle

The Chapman Family Circle recognizes Trinity families who pledge a minimum of $50,000, payable over four years, to fund the experiences of current and future Tigers by supporting an area on campus of their choice. The giving society honors the Chapman family, who has supported Trinity since it opened its doors in Tehuacana, Texas.

Parent Volunteer Programs

Make a difference in the lives of current students and alumni through active and exciting engagement with the University. Trinity parents are extremely generous with their time. Some get involved in their local area through the admissions office and others help with Trinity gatherings in their home or workplace.

Parent Council

As a member of Trinity's Parent Council, you make a difference in the education your student receives, while building a strong community among Trinity families.

Engage
Through this partnership, Parent Council members engage in conversation and learning opportunities with campus leadership and decision-makers.

Volunteer
Volunteering on the Council is a meaningful way to remain engaged with the University, providing your insight from a parent perspective, helping to promote professional networking and internships for our students, and providing support through annual gifts. These opportunities include representing Trinity University at a college fair in your local community, assisting with or hosting events in your home, sending thank you notes to donors, helping to create family programming, and much more.

The Family Giving Pathway

Trinity parents and families support the University in ways that are meaningful for their student and their students’ peers. Families have found that an organized approach to philanthropy helps maximize impact.

This pathway illustrates a thoughtful way to structure your giving in support of Trinity University students:

Step 1: Begin

Your philanthropic engagement with Trinity Tigers by making your first leadership level gift to the Trinity Fund, Tiger Athletics, or another area of your choice.

Step 2: Expand

Your impact by increasing your gifts in subsequent years.

Step 3: Learn

About groups and special projects that align with your student’s interests and create a pathway for success for Tigers through your philanthropy.

Step 4: Leave your legacy

With a capstone gift in support of your student’s passion.

Step 5: Consider

Continuing your annual donations or making a planned gift for future Tigers.

Make a Gift

Your generosity enables our Trinity students, faculty, and staff to follow their curiosity to discovery, to develop their leadership potential, and make their impact on campus and beyond.
