Trinity University Announces 2024 Employee Benefits, Information Fairs
Employees will see no rate increases for any health plans

With benefits enrollment season upon us, Trinity University is pleased to share information to help you make the best enrollment decisions for you and your family.

Changes for 2024

Our most significant change for 2024 benefits isn’t a change at all: There are no employee rate increases for any health plans.

In addition, Aetna medical plans will see enhanced changes:

  • new Aetna Concierge program
  • coverage for gender-affirming care
  • coverage for bariatric surgery
  • no deductible/copay for ambulance services for the Aetna 80 and 70 plans – coinsurance only
  • one updated ID card will replace two; your Aetna card will include your pharmacy benefits. 

Our pharmacy carrier is changing to RXBenefits. With this change, you’ll see:

  • new customer service phone number
  • same Express-Scripts pharmacy network
  • same Express-Scripts drug list

Delta Dental enhancements include:

  • PPO increasing the Orthodontia Lifetime Max from $1,000 to $1,500
  • DHMO new fee schedule update that includes some additional coverage for procedures such as orthodontics, bone/soft tissue grafts and deep sedation

The ComPsych Employee Assistance Program, available to all Trinity University employees and family members, provides services for emotional health, stress, anxiety, grief, and financial advice. This year’s enhancements include:

  • an increased number of visits from 3 to 8 at no charge

PayFlex FSA, HSA, and Dependent Care accounts may all be renewed, and PayFlex is partnering with carriers for a faster claim service and less stress and EOB submission for employees.

All benefit enrollment will be done through Workday, and individual communications about your enrollment may be sent to your Workday Inbox.

 


 

Benefits Fairs

Learn about benefits options and help find coverage that’s right for you and your family at this year’s Benefits Fairs and support sessions.

Trinity will offer Benefits Fairs in-person and virtually on Monday and Tuesday, October 23 and 24, 2023. Additionally, one-on-one support sessions can be scheduled with Cindy Holmes, benefits administrator, from October 25-27; an appointment calendar will be published soon.

During the in-person Benefits Fair, get a biometric screening with Quest Diagnostics FREE for employees currently enrolled in one of Trinity's Aetna medical plans. Pre-registration is encouraged.
