Get Prepared for Workday - Student Launch in March
Faculty, staff, and student support options and Spring 2025 activities available

After two years of collaboration, sweat, and, yes, tears, the Student Information System project team is nearly ready to begin the University’s transition from TigerPaws to Workday. Formal training begins in late February in preparation for March 3 activities.

Spring 2025 semester activities remain as is, e.g., you will see rosters, use degree audits, and enter grades as usual through TigerPaws.

So, what exactly will you use Workday for in Spring 2025?
Beginning on March 3...
  • faculty will engage with Workday for activities related to Summer 2025 and Fall 2025 registration,

  • students will start their semester checklist, consisting of FERPA review, Title IV, TrinAlert, and advising tasks and the items in their student guide, and

  • staff will login to Workday as the system of record for student data and reports they previously accessed in TigerPaws (refer to faculty and student activity guides).

If you’re like me, it’s tough to remember what happened last week let alone months ago. That’s why training and support will be just-in-time and topic-based. This allows you to engage and ask questions on a topic you’re interested in. Training begins on February 24 with asynchronous help articles available on February 17 (on the project website and Trinity’s Workday Help Center). Our schedule is on the project website and continues to develop.

The project team and Readiness Collective members will also proactively reach out to departments and offices in the next few weeks to offer tailored support so please be on the lookout for communication.

If at any time, you’d like to request a demo, Q&A session, or anything in between for yourself or your team/department session, contact @email or Michelle Bartonico.

We will see you around whether through formal sessions or informal conversations, as we all prepare…to get prepared for the Workday - Student launch on March 3.
