Welcome back! As we kick off a new academic year, here's a look at the exciting transformations that took place during the summer to enhance Trinity's spaces and support our community.

From new academic spaces to upgraded athletic facilities to immaculate campus landscaping, Trinity continues to evolve.

Major Projects

Welcome Center & Event Hall
  • Structural frames completed
  • New entrance added to Benesky Parkway
  • Connection bridge was built linking to Coates Library

Northrup Hall Renovations
  • The Center for International Engagement's (CIE) new home is on the first floor of Northrup Hall, with entrance at the breezeway. The CIE renovations are wrapping up early this fall.
  • Classrooms 116 and 118 were completed and are ready for the fall semester.
  • The Strategic Communications and Marketing (SCM) office is part of the Northrup renovations.

  • Restroom refresh, HVAC upgrades, and sliding patio door replacement

Chapman Center Patio Enhancement
  • A donor-funded expansion of the Great Hall patio will create a versatile outdoor space for events and student gatherings.
  • Expected completion: early Fall 2025

William Knox Holt Center Renovation
  • Renovation of the historic Holt Center is underway to preserve tradition while modernizing for future generations.
  • Expected completion: Summer 2026

Campus Safety

Murchison Outdoor Lighting
  • Thanks to the recommendation by the Student Government Association (SGA), additional lighting was installed between Murchison Hall and South Campus, namely the pickleball court!
  • Additional lighting enhances visibility and safety for evening foot traffic.

EV Charging Stations Relocated
  • EV charging stations were relocated from Prassel Garage to Lot T, just south of Verna McLean, to support our community's emphasis on campus safety.

Residence Hall Fire Alarm Upgrades
  • Upgraded fire alarm system panel and devices in Calvert and Miller Halls.
  • New devices now incorporate mass notifications.

Athletics Enhancements

Calgaard Gym Court Replacement & Naming
  • Introducing the Julie Jenkins Court, newly minted on the fully replaced court in Calgaard Gym.

Softball & Soccer Fence Upgrades
  • Replaced chain link fencing around both fields.
  • Installed higher netting behind soccer goals for improved safety.
