TU Press Receives Awards
University press honored with state and local awards

Trinity University Press recently received four prestigious state and local book awards. For the second year in a row, the Texas State Historical Association gave a TU Press book the Al Lowman Memorial Prize for Best Book on Texas County or Local History, this time for Brackenridge: San Antonio’s Acclaimed Urban Park by Lewis F. Fisher, which also received the Ron Tyler Award for Best Illustrated Book on Texas History and Culture. The Conservation Society of San Antonio honored In the Loop: A Political and Economic History of San Antonio by David R. Johnson and West Side Rising: How San Antonio’s 1921 Flood Devastated a City and Sparked a Latino Environmental Justice Movement by Char Miller with publication awards.
