Degree Format
With each semester combining an initial three-day on-campus session with distance-learning experiences over the remainder of the semester, the executive track consists of a progression of courses across six semesters, usually taking 23 months to complete.
On-Campus Sessions
The hybrid educational format includes on-campus sessions concentrated at the beginning of each semester. Over the span of three full days, students initiate each of their courses through intensive classwork and discussions. However, these on-campus sessions include more than just course content, including selected speakers, site visits, and community building events that foster camaraderie and bonding opportunities among students.
Distance Learning
Following the on-campus sessions that mark the beginning of each semester, each course continues with a distance-learning format that engages students through a variety of formats, including teleconference sessions and asynchronous online discussion forums. As students engage course content while continuing to serve in their full-time positions, the virtual classroom becomes an environment in which students share their current experiences and diverse perspectives within the healthcare industry and then apply those to key concepts being addressed in the course curricula, learning and benefiting from one another as a community of developing leaders.
