Non-Degree Seeking Tigers
The Office of Admissions welcomes and assists students who wish to enroll in Trinity University courses for credit, but do not intend on pursuing a Trinity degree, including:

International Exchange Students
International students participating in an approved Trinity University exchange program

Trinity University Employees and their Dependents
University employees, their spouses, and/or their dependents wishing to take courses using tuition benefits
-
Other Non-Degree Seeking Students
- Visiting students from another four-year university in good standing with their home universities
- Non-Trinity students wishing to participate in Trinity faculty-led programs
- College graduates needing to take prerequisite courses for graduate and professional schools
- San Antonio community members wishing to take courses for personal enrichment
Applications
To be considered for admission, all students who wish to take courses at Trinity must submit an application with the appropriate documents by the correct deadline for their non-degree seeking application type.

Where to Apply
All applicants will be provided access to an Application Status Portal, where admissions decisions and additional information will be communicated.
Requirements
Please note:
All visiting applicants must be in good academic standing and be eligible to return to all previous institutions.
Non-degree students are held to the same standards governing academic progress (including probation/suspension) as degree-seeking students.
All students must register prior to starting classes. To register for classes, all students must complete the appropriate application process for their non-degree seeking student application type.
Texas Law requires all students under the age of 22 to have the Meningococcal vaccine at least 10 days before class starts and within the last five years. Students may not attend class without this vaccine. For information about this requirement, please refer to the University’s enrollment policies.
Students previously enrolled at Trinity seeking re-admission as degree or non-degree seeking students should contact the Office of the Registrar and fill out the Application for Re-Admission.
International Exchange Students
If you are currently enrolled full time at one of Trinity University’s official exchange partner schools, please apply as an exchange student.

You will be required to provide proof of funding for:
- Room and board (living expenses)
- Transportation and personal expenses

University employees and their dependents must submit the following documents:

Educational Records
University employees do not need to submit any educational records.
Dependents of University employees must submit official records and documentation, including an official transcript from their most recent institution and an Educational Institution Report (see additional instructions under “Non-Degree Seeking Student”).

All applicants must complete and submit the Tuition Remission Form to Human Resources prior to registering for courses.

Professor Approval
All applicants must obtain written approval from the professor(s) of their chosen course(s), which should be kept and brought to registration.

Please note that University employees should use their Trinity email and Trinity phone number on the application.
Non-Degree Seeking Students
Students interested in taking courses for academic credit but not in seeking a degree from Trinity may be admitted for non-degree study. Please apply as a non-degree seeking student.
Tuition and Fees
Tuition and fees are the part-time student rate, and financial aid is not available.
