Trinity’s alternative spring break program, Tiger Breaks, allows students to travel and explore different cultures, conduct service, and examine social justice issues.
Components of the student-led Tiger Breaks program include direct service, reflection activities, alumni engagement, and cultural exploration.
Students learn about cultural heritage, history, demographics, and current events, both in sessions before the break and during the immersion. After the trip, students gather together for a reception to look back and reflect on their experience. Students can even get academic credit for participation in the program.
Applications for Tiger Breaks Spring Break trip will open in the Fall! The Tiger Break trip will take place March 7th through March 15th
This Spring, Tiger Breaks will be traveling to and serving New Orleans, LA.
