On Saturday, December 16, at 10 a.m., Trinity University will conclude 2023 with the Winter Commencement ceremony in Laurie Auditorium. Immediately following the ceremony, the president’s reception will be held in the Center for the Sciences and Innovation Cube and Atrium.
Trinity has a total of 118 students graduating in Winter 2023. This includes:
- Bachelor of Arts - 21
- Bachelor of Science - 51
- Master of Education - 15
- Master of Science in Health Care Administration - 31
“Being a Trinity University student has been the cornerstone of my personal and academic growth. In this tight-knit community, I've not only thrived in my studies but also forged enduring friendships with both peers and professors,” says Mackenzie Gasner '23, M’25, an accounting major graduating this December who has plans to continue her studies in Trinity’s Master of Science in Accounting program while interning with KPMG. “I am beyond grateful for the wisdom that Trinity has instilled in me, and I am looking forward to applying these lessons as I embark on the next chapter of my journey, armed with knowledge, resilience, and a deep sense of community. Tiger pride!”
Danny Nguyen ’24, president of the Student Government Association, will speak on behalf of the graduating students, and Betsy Winakur Tontiplaphol, Ph.D., professor and chair of the Department of English and 2023 Z.T. Scott Award recipient, will give the commencement address.
Families and guests should arrive at least 30 minutes before the ceremony starts to have adequate time to park and find their seats. Tickets are not required for guests at the commencement ceremony or for the president’s reception.
For those who can’t attend in person, the ceremony will be livestreamed on Tiger Network at the start of the event In Central Standard Time. Additionally, the ceremony will be available to watch on demand the same day.
