City Excursions

 

Shopping Shuttle

Use the shopping shuttle to grab essentials from Target Park North or Central Market. The shopping shuttle, FREE and open to all Trinity students, runs on select Saturdays. Seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

 

DSA/SSA Trips

ISSS sponsors several trips to the Department of Public Safety and the Social Security Administration offices during the fall and spring semesters.
Required: Sign-up for a reservation to guarantee a spot. Seating is limited, so sign up early.

Transportation Options

 

City Bus

The Trinity campus is surrounded by VIA bus stops on lines 5, 8, 11, and 509.

 

Bike Share

For short trips around town, consider San Antonio Bike Share. A bike station is available south of McLean residence hall.

 

Car Share

ZipCar is available on campus for students who hold valid driver licenses and are registered with the program.

Buying a Car

Some Tigers need to purchase a vehicle upon arrival in the U.S. Buying a car is a multi-step process, and driving a car requires the driver to hold a valid driver license and automobile insurance. View tips on buying a car, and review Trinity’s Parking Services guides.

Get Medication Delivered to Campus

Students can have prescription medication delivered to campus through local pharmacy delivery services. Call or check in with the pharmacy of your choice to learn more about delivery options and associated fees.

International Mail

Expedited international mailing can be done through Air Concepts USA’s Smart and Simple Shipping for Students and Institutions.

The United States Postal Service, UPS, and DHL also provide international mailing and shipping options.
