TUPD’s Community Awareness and Resource Team (C.A.R.T.) offers services, assistance, and information to campus organizations. If you would like TUPD to help at one of your events or would like more information, please write C.A.R.T. Team Leader Officer Eliseo Sandoval at esandov1@trinity.edu.
Traffic Control
To schedule security, lane closure, traffic, or pedestrian services for a campus event, please call TUPD at 210-999-7070. For more information about this service, please contact Cpl. Laura Hernandez at 210-999-7326.
Training Programs
The Trinity University Police Department hosts interagency meetings and training programs (i.e. DWI, Gang Task Force, Investigator, and Crime Prevention) that are open to all Law Enforcement agencies. These training programs may include credit from the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE).

Community Outreach
The Trinity University Police Department is very engaged in the local University community. It schedules many social events throughout the year to connect with students, faculty, staff, and other community members.

Lost and Found
Occasionally, the Trinity University Police Department receives lost and found items. If you have lost an item, please check and see if it has been held at:
- The Coates Student Center (student information desk)
- The Coates Library (circulation desk)
- The Laurie Auditorium (box office)
- The Witt Center (reception desk)
- The Bell Center (admin office)
If you cannot find your lost item in these locations, you are welcome to call TUPD’s 24-hour dispatch center at 210-999-7070 to see if it has been turned in.
Please note that items not claimed after 120 days are disposed of in accordance with department regulations and guidelines.
