Associate Dean: The Carlos Alvarez School of Arts and Humanities, Associate Professor, Modern Languages and Literatures

I am from Puerto Rico and moved to the U.S. in 2001 with the intention of returning to the island. Fortunately, I got my dream job at Trinity University in 2010, where I am able to balance my love for scholarship with my love for classroom teaching. I have two daughters and a hard-working, supportive husband, who enabled me to complete my Ph.D. while working.
