Who lives here: First-Year Students
The first-year area is an exciting place to get to know the rest of your entering class and to adjust to campus life. The First-year Area consists of six buildings on the east side of campus, clustered together so all first-year students can experience a vibrant and supportive community.

Albert Herff-Beze Hall
Albert Herff-Beze Hall (pronounced BEE-zee) is located at the east end of campus directly behind Mabee Dining Hall and has one of the largest lounges in the first-year area.
Harold D. Herndon Hall
Harold D. Herndon Hall is located on the east end of campus directly behind Mabee Dining Hall and adjacent to two other first-year halls, Beze Hall and Witt-Winn.
Verna McLean Hall
Verna McLean Hall is located on the east side of campus near the south campus recreation area, across the parking lot from the Bell Athletic Center, and next door to Mabee Dining Hall.
C.W. Miller Hall
C.W. Miller Hall is located in the middle of the traditional first-year student quad on east campus.
Robert R. Witt - Carleton R. Winn Hall
Robert R. Witt - Carleton R. Winn Hall is located in the middle of the first-year quad area on the east side of campus.
