Students submit their housing application through the Student Housing Portal, though the process looks slightly different for incoming first-year students, transfer students, and returning students.
First-Year Housing Application
The housing form is primarily used for roommate matching, and it is also used to gather information about your academic areas of interest at Trinity.

Instructions to submit first-year and transfer housing applications on the student housing portal will be available through the Admissions Portal. All applications are due on June 1. Students must submit their enrollment deposits and must receive their Trinity network credentials before they are granted access to the student housing portal.

Complete the form on time in order to receive your housing assignment by July 1.

Returning Student Room Reservation
Returning students will use the Housing Portal to submit a housing application, select roommates and suitemates, and to reserve their space in a residence hall room for the following academic year. Detailed instructions about every stage of the Housing Selection Process will be provided via email at the student's trinity.edu account. As a reminder, full-time undergraduate students are required to live on campus for three years from the date of matriculation. Rising Sophomores live together in Sophomore College, while rising Juniors and rising Seniors will live together in the Upper Division Area.
