For almost all students but a few, campus will be closed to all but the most essential activities until your assigned move-in date until classes begin January 25. You will be given a specific date and time if you are designated to move in. Watch your email for more details.

LET THE COUNTDOWN BEGIN
Move-in days are a proud Trinity tradition. Residential Life works to make your move-in experience as smooth as possible.
Aug. 20: Residence halls open for first-year and transfer students
New students will arrive on campus based on their residence hall assignments. It is imperative that students follow their assigned move-in date and time frame.
If you brought a family member or guest: The driver must remain in the vehicle.
If you came alone:
- Stay with the Trinity volunteers as they unload your car.
- Park and go directly to your residence hall floor to check in with your RA.
- Walk to the Bell Center and continue the check-in process. At the Bell Center, you’ll pick up your Tiger Card that you'll need for your meal plan and will also be used as your room key. You'll also receive your parking tag.
Head to your residence hall during your assigned move-in time
To ensure a safe move-in process for all, only two people will be allowed to help their student move in.

Get Ready for New Student Orientation
Fall 2021 updates will be available soon on the NSO website!
The program is designed to acquaint you with campus life, assist you with the transition to the academic rigor of Trinity, and of course, build community among your fellow classmates. Come prepared to participate in key Trinity traditions from the start. We believe that you should actively seek opportunities to learn about yourself, develop, and engage in our vibrant campus life.
No prior registration is required and there is no cost to attend orientation.

What to Expect
Packing is hard work! Make sure to give yourself plenty of time to pack everything up, move everything out, and clean your space before you go.
Breaks and Closures
Main campus residence halls close for student access during Winter Break. Students returning in the spring will not have to move completely out of their rooms for the winter break, as they’ll return to the same room in the spring. Student rooms will be entered for maintenance purposes, but students may not enter during this time. Students enrolled on-campus for the entire academic year only need to fully remove belongings at the end of the year.
