LET THE COUNTDOWN BEGIN
Move-In Day
Move-in days are a proud Trinity tradition. Residential Life works to make your move-in experience as smooth as possible.
Important Dates
Fall 2021 updates will be available soon!
Move-In Schedule
New students will arrive on campus based on their residence hall assignments. It is imperative that students follow their assigned move-in date and time frame.
STEP 1
Report to Laurie Auditorium for COVID-19 Testing and Check-In
During your assigned time frame, students should first report to Laurie Auditorium to get tested for COVID-19, check in with Residential Life staff, and receive their Tiger Card.
If you brought a family member or guest: The driver must remain in the vehicle.
If you came alone:
- Stay with the Trinity volunteers as they unload your car.
- Park and go directly to your residence hall floor to pick up your NSO schedule from your Resident Assistant. Unlock your door for the volunteers.
- Walk to Bell Center and continue the check-in process. At the Bell Center, we take your yearbook photo and produce the Tiger Card you'll need for your meal plan and will also be used as your room key. You'll also receive your parking tag.
STEP 2
Head to your residence hall during your assigned move-in time
If you brought a guest: To comply with social distancing guidelines, only one person will be allowed to help their student move in.
Questions and Contact
If you have specific questions regarding move-in or orientation, contact Esther Kim at ekim1@trinity.edu.
STEP 3
Get Ready for New Student Orientation
The program is designed to acquaint you with campus life, assist you with the transition to the academic rigor of Trinity, and of course, build community among your fellow classmates. Come prepared to participate in key Trinity traditions from the start. We believe that you should actively seek opportunities to learn about yourself, develop, and engage in our vibrant campus life.
No prior registration is required and there is no cost to attend orientation.

WE'LL MISS YOU
Move-Out Day
Students move out of their rooms completely at the end of the academic year. Residential Life will email steps for a successful move-out to all students, including ways to avoid end-of-year charges.
Important Dates
May 20: Main campus residence halls close for all non-graduating seniors
May 23: Main campus residence halls close for graduating seniors
May 24: City Vista move-out for all residents
What to Expect
Packing is hard work! Make sure to give yourself plenty of time to pack everything up, move everything out, and clean your space before you go.
Breaks and Closures
Main campus residence halls close for student access during Winter Break. Student rooms will be entered for maintenance purposes, but students may not enter during this time. Students enrolled on-campus for the entire academic year only need to fully remove belongings at the end of the year.
